interesting to note that the steeple was built inside the tower and then raised to |
the top of the church. The bell in the tower was installed around the year 1910. It |
was purchased in Saint John, and shipped to Morden on a freight ship called the |
Ruby L. |

| Funds for its purchase were raised through the use of ‘Bell cards’, which were given |
to each contributor in exchange for a donation. Benefit tea meetings were held each |
summer as the church was being built. |

The six monogrammed windows in the nave were placed there through the efforts |
of Miss Jane Orr and the other women in the congregation. Charles Clarke gave the |
large west window in memory of his father, John G. Clarke. The altar, prayer desk, |
