Glory to God for the things he hath done.
"October 10, 1990 marked the two hundredth anniversary of the consecration of
St. Mary's Anglican Church, Auburn, N.S. This lovely church building is a beautiful
and unique adaptation of Sir Christopher Wren's skilled architectural designs."
"It must have been a source of awe and civilized comfort to those early families
who settled in the Aylesford Township. It became the center of life in those days
so long ago, and was closely followed by schools and local business enterprise.
Because of its classic, but simple elegance, and its inherent significance, it became
a recognized and respected landmark."
